The Rescue of a Fox in the Óbidos Lagoon – A New Beginning in Nature

Thanks to the quick action of the authorities and the support of specialized professionals, it was possible to diagnose a severe case of mange. This parasitic disease can compromise not only the skin, but also the general health of the animal, and can be fatal if not treated in time. With appropriate treatment, which included deworming, stabilization and a therapeutic bath, the fox was able to fully recover and was returned to its natural habitat.
